Skyline TG (Technology Generation) 3 is good for generating continual and dense attack. It’s a more direct and faster version of Skyline rubber. More speed and power allows to play aggressive topspins near the table or from medium distance without loosing control when playing short game or blocking.

“I played with this rubber for about a year, and this is my experience with it. This is definitely one of the hardest rubber topsheet ever, so even if the sponge is soft, it will still be difficult to control. With that said, this rubber is very tacky and can generate very good spin and speed. For a non-tensor, it’s also pretty dynamic. The main drawback is that there is a huge learning curve for this rubber, even compared to other tacky Chinese rubbers. For example, Hurricane 3 is much easier to play with. Once you get used to Skyline TG3, it can be a great weapons. Because it is developed for penhold players, this is a very sensitive and reactive rubber, so it’s not forgiving on mistakes. Small movement can generate a lot of spin. In the hands of a capable player, the rubber can spin the ball in all possible ways. I was never able to get used to this rubber even after a long time. Many of my shots tend to go long and off the table. This rubber has good speed and great spin capabilities. It is a good rubber. It’s just not the right rubber for me. I would rate it 8.5 out of 10, because it is difficult to control.”
